Therefore, LILYSILK works with TerraCycle®, a social enterprise Eliminating the Idea of Waste®, to make waste from our products be reused as much as possible. TerraCycle has worked with many companies to recycle hard-to-recycle materials and is claimed that they can recycle nearly everything touched.
In addition to this, we put more effort into developing new products by using leftover silk fibers and fabrics as we believe this will reduce waste at the beginning. But that doesn’t mean the products made from silk leftovers are of poor quality, and we only utilize them to make the most appropriate products, as shown below.
