How to care for your silk fitted sheet for longer usage?

Silk is known for its luxury and smoothness.
It’s a myth that silk is “too delicate” or difficult to care for – it
just requires a different type of care. In order to extend the life of silk
sheets, it is important to know how to choose, wash, dry, iron, and store silk
sheets to keep them beautiful and like new for as long as possible.

Choose
suitable color that go with your room decor

When choosing silk fitted sheets, make sure
you choose the suitable color that go with your overall room decoration.
Otherwise, you may find it is a little bit weird of your room. Or after using
it for a period of time, you may want to change it. Silk fabric is very
luxurious and expensive, surely you don’t want the investment to upset you a
lot.

Wash

2  Machine wash in lukewarm water (30°C) on most gentle cycle
available.

2  Wash separately from other items using a silk friendly detergent.

2  Do not use bleaches for washing your silk fitted sheet

2  Your silk fitted sheet looks more lustering when you drop some
vinegar into the water when washing them.

2  New towel and flannelette can remove the stains or mildew on the
silk pajamas, so does the alcohol and ammonium hydroxide

Dry

2  Hang dry if possible.

2  Tumble dry on a cool setting if using drying machine.

2  Avoid drying for extended period of time.

Iron

2  Iron when slightly damp using a cool setting. Overheating would
cause damage to the surface of silk fabric.

2  Always iron on the inside.

Store

2  Fold your silk fitted sheet well when you don’t use it, put it into
a protective bag or lay it flat on your wardrobe.

2  Wrinkles will smooth out when the sheets are replaced on your bed or
folded and placed under other sheets or towels.
